The rate of the TICFE may increase for businesses in 2024

The 2024 Finance Act maintains the rate of the TICFE for 2024 at €0.5/MWh. However, the government will have the option of raising the rate of the TICFE between now and 31 January 2024, provided that the increase in the rate does not lead to an increase of more than 10% in the regulated tariff for the sale of electricity.
The full rate of TICGN will rise to €16.37/MWh.
