German company ThyssenKrupp Nucera, which manufactures electrolysers used to produce green hydrogen, has seen its order intake fall by 26% over the last six months. ThyssenKrupp's difficulties echo statements made by groups such as Engie and Iberdrola. Engie has postponed its electrolysis capacity installation targets by 5 years to 2035. Iberdrola, for its part, has stated that the conditions have not been met for green hydrogen activity to develop as initially planned. The European Commission has set a green hydrogen production target of 10 million tonnes by 2030.
