The government could lower electricity taxes

The government has said it is willing to consider certain amendments to the draft budget aimed at reducing electricity excise duties for households and businesses. The Prime Minister has also indicated his desire to move forward with multi-year energy planning, setting out two priorities: defining a realistic trajectory for electricity consumption and securing the development of nuclear and renewable energies.
