The French government launches public consultations on the Multiannual Energy Programme (PEP) and the National Low Carbon Strategy (NLCS)
The French government has launched public consultations on the Multiannual Energy Programme (PPE) and the National Low Carbon Strategy (SNBC). Stakeholders and the general public will have until 15 December to comment on the draft texts, which aim to plan France's long-term energy and climate strategy. The Multiannual Energy Programme (2035 horizon) could be adopted in the form of a decree early next year. The national low-carbon strategy, which has a longer time horizon (2050), should be adopted later in 2025.
