The development of solar PV continues

In Germany, the federal regulatory agency published the results of the latest solar photovoltaic tender on 13 February. 2,341 MW of capacity was selected following the consultation, out of a proposed capacity of 2,328 MW. The prices of the selected bids range from EUR 44/MWh to EUR 53/MWh, with a weighted average of EUR 50/MWh, slightly higher than that of the previous tender (EUR 48.4/MWh). The majority of projects will be located along motorways, followed by a group of projects located in areas with low agricultural potential, which facilitates the acceptability of the projects.
