Several major infrastructure facilities have been affected or damaged since the start of the war

Several major oil facilities have been hit or damaged by air strikes since the start of the war:

  • The Samref refinery in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia (Red Sea), hit by a drone; the extent of the damage is currently being assessed,
  • The Fujairah oil facility in the United Arab Emirates,
  • The Shah oil field in Oman, struck by Iranian drones, leading to the suspension of operations at the site,
  • Two refineries in Kuwait (Mina Abdullah and Mina Al-Ahmadi).
