Saudi Arabia is asking its Asian customers to pay a premium of $20 per barrel
Saudi Arabia charges its Asian customers a premium of around $20 per barrel on top of market index prices (the Oman-Dubai benchmark). European customers, for their part, must pay a premium of around $25 to $30 per barrel on top of the Brent price. Saudi Arabia has been able to maintain an export flow of around 50% of its pre-war level thanks to the pipeline crossing the Arabian Peninsula to the port of Yanbu on the Red Sea.
