Modulation of nuclear power plants does not concern the nuclear safety and radiation protection authority

The ASNR considers that the modulation of the nuclear fleet is more of an organisational than a material concern. While increased modulation of the nuclear fleet has an impact on fleet management and the scheduling of maintenance shutdowns, the material impacts remain manageable, particularly in terms of safety issues. However, the ASNR points out that the analysis of the impact of modulation on equipment is included in the discussion on extending the life of reactors.
