Gas consumption in January increased by 4% compared with January 2023.

In Italy, natural gas consumption rose by 4% compared with January 2023. Consumption by households and the tertiary sector rose by 6% to 51 TWh. Consumption in industry rose by 2% to 10.3 TWh, and the quantities of gas used to generate electricity increased by 6% to 20.1 TWh.
