France sets a renewable energy consumption target of 570 TWh in 2030
In the energy-climate plan it has submitted to the European Commission, France has set itself the target of consuming 570 TWh of renewable energy by 2030, out of a total energy consumption of 1381 TWh, representing a share of 41%. The 2020 target of 23% renewable energy consumption will be met and even slightly exceeded by 2024.
