Europe may not achieve its 2050 climate targets

According to Wood Mackenzie, the European Union may not achieve the climate targets it has set itself. With the crisis, the European Commission has placed the emphasis on security of supply and energy sovereignty to the detriment of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. On the basis of the policies currently being implemented, Europe will not achieve the targets it has set itself for 2050 until 2060.
