Endesa will not renew long-term contracts with Qatar and Nigeria

The CEO of Endesa has indicated that the company will not renew the long-term gas purchase contracts with Qatar and Nigeria, which expire in 2025 and 2026. Endesa is banking on a drop in gas consumption in Europe and intends to adapt to the new market conditions. The company will stop selling gas in 2040.
