Electricity consumption remained stable in 2025

In a study published earlier this year, Eurelectric estimates that electricity consumption will remain stable in 2025 at 2,708 TWh, compared with 2,724 TWh in 2024.
Electricity consumption will be 7% lower than in 2021.
Solar power generation increased by more than 60 TWh to reach 340 TWh in 2025, representing 12.5% of European electricity consumption.
