The divergence of the Flamanville EPR, during which the reactor's first chain reaction takes place, initially scheduled for July, has been postponed until the end of the summer due to minor technical problems. The plant is expected to start up before 21 September, although a series of tests will have to be carried out beforehand to check the reactor's behaviour.
