CRE confirms TURPE update on1 November 2024
The increase in TURPE set by the Energy Commission in its decision of 26 June will come into force on1 November 2024. However, the increase will not immediately affect residential and very small business customers, as the TURPE increase for these categories of customer will be postponed until1 February 2025, the date on which the regulated electricity sales tariffs for residential and very small business customers will be reviewed. The increase in TURPE will make it possible to cover the actual expenditure incurred by network operators. The HTA-BT TURPE will increase by 4.81% and the HTB TURPE by 4.99%.
