ARENH demand for 2025 reaches 135 TWh

On Friday 29 November, the French Energy Regulatory Commission published the volume of ARENH requested by alternative suppliers for 2025. This volume amounts to 134.93 TWh, with a ceiling of 100 TWh. As a result, the capping rate, defined as the volume of ARENH not obtained because the cap was exceeded, is 25.88%.
The capping rate is up on last year (23.32%), reflecting the increase in alternative suppliers' market share. 107 suppliers have requested ARENH on behalf of their customers for 2025.
