American technology groups call for nuclear revival

Amazon, Google and Meta, together with other major electricity consumers, are calling on the US government to revive the construction of nuclear power plants. American industrialists want to see installed capacity tripled. Microsoft and Apple have not joined the call. Major US banks including Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Barclays and Morgan Stanley have pledged to participate in nuclear financing.
